We analysed the markets top gaming laptops specifically from an audio prospective. After all, what use is a gaming laptop without some epic speakers to bring out the sound and realism of gaming. As you’d expect the quality of speakers used by gaming laptops vary in quality and technical.

Whether you are playing a VR game with Oculus sound cues or just an ordinary PC game with normal audio cues, quality gaming laptop speakers are an often overlooked but extremely important aspect of a gaming laptop. During our research process we checked out a few reviews for gaming laptops and recommend this best of guide for gaming laptops in 2019. But, let's face it, no matter how much your spending on a laptop, gaming or otherwise it's not going to have the best audio setup. Logitech Z906 is our number 1 gaming laptop speaker. This 5.1 channel speaker system features five powerful satellite speakers, a subwoofer, and a PC control console. Besides that, it comes with 500 Watts of power output, Dolby Digital sound and DTS decoding. Finally, yet importantly are the three sound modes that this amazing gaming laptop speaker offers. These are Stereo 3D, 2.1 and 4.1 modes respectively.

Cyber Acoustics CA 3602 is a nice budget speaker for gaming laptops. This 2.1 channel speaker system features two satellite speakers and a single subwoofer. The set can deliver 50Hz to 20 kHz frequency range, as well as 62 peak power Watts and 30 RMS Watts. It is rated as follows for various aspects:

As you can see, if you are looking for volume, sound quality, durability and value for money, the Acoustics CA 3602 is one of the top choices for gaming laptop speakers. What you may not like about this speaker, however, is the design, which looks like that of a cheap, counterfeit product.

3. Klipsch Promedia 2.1

Klipsch Promedia 2.1 is another quality 2.1 channel laptop gaming speaker system. It comes with two satellite speakers and a subwoofer that is powered by a 130-watt inbuilt amplifier. This laptop gaming speaker system has a few aspects not to like though. The plastic speaker casings used do not inspire confidence at all. The design for the two satellite speakers looks like that of a cheap and counterfeit laptop speaker system. The DIN connectors behind the subwoofer look delicate and very prone to damage.

4. Razer Leviathan

Razer Leviathan is another amazing laptop gaming speaker system worth considering. It comes with a sound bar and a subwoofer, featuring a cutting-edge 5.1 surround sound technology. In addition, it features Dolby technology, NFC Bluetooth technology and EQ controls. Spatial (audio appearing to come from a specific location in environment) in VR and 3D gaming can be critical for immersion, presence, and conveyance of information for both game-play and storytelling. This, therefore, brings about variation in sound variables that virtual projects need to simulate, as preferred by listeners. Phonon is one of a 3D audio technologies used within 3D game engines and SteamVR.
